With June well under way, the Cool Gamer Retirement Home has an announcement to make:

Pridecraft is back, and it’s better than ever.

For the remainder of June, starting tomorrow (June 9), a group of CGRH collaborators will be playing Minecraft and raising money for Point of Pride, a charity based around providing access to gender-affirming healthcare to individuals in need. In this home, we love and cherish our trans community and want them to be in the spotlight for our pride charity efforts this year.

Our featured streamers will be decorating pride parade balloons and possibly furnishing a massive floating retirement home (think of Disney-Pixar’s Up), all while raising money to help queer people in need. The event will go from the kickoff stream on June 9 at 6:00 p.m. EST to the finale stream on June 30 at 6:00 p.m. EST.

We have a full lineup of featured streamers, and we are so excited to see how they decorate their balloons. We only have ourselves to compete against, since last year’s Pridecraft floats were such a success.

There will also of course be a Bingo Night, one of the most popular events that the retirement home hosts. That will be Sunday, June 25 at 2 p.m.. We have so many cool prizes you can win. It will be $1 per bingo card (and donating to any of the featured streamers’ incentives will count toward getting your card). It’s always a great time and helps us grow together as a community! (Plus the prizes are absolutely worth it, we promise.)

This year we are also trying a silent auction. The winner of the silent auction, which will go throughout June, will receive this beautiful pendant created by Washbear’s Wares. We’re going to track how many donations are given across all the featured streamers’ shows, and whoever ends up giving the most will be the winner of this beauty. (So, the takeaway here: Make sure you’re giving under the same name if you give to multiple campaigns!!)

The kickoff is June 9 at 6 p.m. EST on SuperRedria64’s channel, then we’ll start with the featured streamers in earnest on Monday, June 12, starting with FaerieBiscuit at 12 p.m. EST! Don’t forget to follow all the streamers to get notifications when they go live for the events!
