It’s finally here, the month we’ve all been waiting for!
Souptember 2023 is upon us, and that means the Cool Gamer Retirement Home is up to our usual shenanigans… This is our second year running the event. The point? To raise money for a food-based charity while making soup in video games.
This year, we are raising money for World Central Kitchen: Chefs for Hawai’i! This organization has been doing amazing work in the community following the fires in Maui, including their most recent announcement that they had provided 60,000 meals in the past two weeks to people in need in the affected areas. The organization focuses on providing fresh meals to populations impacted by recent crises. As we make our video game soups, we are supporting folks making real soup and improving real human lives – we can make a difference.
Throughout this month, we have a group of streamers signed up to do some charity streams as part of their usual lineup of content. Some of it we’ll be doing in groups, and some will be individual. Every single one will involve soup.

Individual streams will be announced as the streamers schedule their days and times! Please follow each streamer on Twitch to stay up to date on all announcements!
Some streamers will be adding special items to their respective shops this month as well… SuperRedria64 is selling Souper Hero t-shirts and FaerieBiscuit has a promotional bundle in their soap shop (‘soap’tember, anyone?). Part of the proceeds from these items will be donated to the WCK.
